    1. Summer Runners 2017 / 2018 — 2 person turnaround relay @ Civil Defence Rooms, Wither Road Extension
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      Relay – 2 person turnaround.
      Meet at Civil Defence Wither Road Extension 5.45pm ready for 6pm start.

      Points system: Points are awarded to each person turning up and participating in all relays and pack runs/walk. 5 points turning up and participating. Plus 10 points awarded to each team member in relays or individuals for first place, 9 points 2nd place, 8 points for 3rd place and so on down to 1 point for 10th place. Relay teams are selected as evenly as possible. At the end of the Summer Runners season, prizes will be awarded to the top point scorers. Pack runs/walk will be non competitive, made as enjoyable as possible. Just join in to all events or just the ones you want to. 5 KM time trial series. Run walk over 4 races. Minimum three 5km trials to count towards series including handicap race. Prizes awarded for winning male and female.

      Registration Go online www.harriers.net.nz/events/kqw On the day accepted from 07:00am at the Rifle Range car park on Taylor Pass road. Race briefing immediately before each event starts. $23 per person entry fee online, $25 on the day.
      Run (solo), Walk (solo) or Hybrid (solo) Events. Children gold coin per person with entry on the day only.
      Start Times 07:45am   Walkers, 08:00am  Hybrid, 08:30am  Runners, Children 8.35am
      Prize Giving
      At the venue following the event. Sausage sizzle & refreshments. Performances prizes and spot prizes.
      Grades Juniors – Under 20,  Seniors – Under 35 Veterans + 35 – Children – 12 years and under.

      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      5k time trial handicapped from the Alfred St bridge on the Taylor River.

      Relay Sheps Park. Please be there by 5.45pm to get put into a team. Ready to run walk 6pm.

      Pack Run South End Railway Station Carpark. Meet at 5.45pm for run briefing ready to run walk 6pm. Run will take you to Spring Creek return. Shorter distances available.
